Position Number 5 Branch Academic Affairs Division Academic Success Department Reading Job Description
Responsible for teaching literacy skills in a co-teaching environment, using the IBEST model of instruction. The Academic Success division is seeking positive, dynamic, student-centered individuals to teach reading, literacy, and learning strategies in a contextualized format alongside MCC program/industry instructors. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven commitment to student learning through literacy development and to those having experience working with adult learners.
Required Qualification
Master’s degree in Reading or a related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in reading required.
Preferred Qualifications
Higher education/community college teaching experience is preferred.
Physical Demands Salary/Hourly Rate $580
