Job Description:
Terra Universal is growing and looking for a Data Entry Clerk who will work together with the rest of the Marketing team on various projects and marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a careful and dependable entry-level professional who is comfortable with data entry, proficient in Microsoft Excel, and an excellent communicator (verbal and written). We are seeking an individual who is excited about the opportunity to learn and grow within our company. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, be proactive in seeking out new challenges, and have a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Create/Update/Discontinue product records and categories with information such as specifications, descriptions, pricing information, and photos. Project scopes are often ambiguous and requires a proactive, creative attitude to get what is needed to complete the project. This is your core responsibility.
- Troubleshooting data export issues to ensure our website layout looks the way we expect based off data entry records.
- Use Microsoft Excel to compile product data, plan out changes to product lines, and audit results.
- Research product details using technical drawings, product manuals, bills of material and other documentation.
- Ensure all product descriptions, specifications, and images meet company standards.
- If necessary, act as a backup for distributing Sales leads via Freshdesk.
- Coordinate work with Engineering and Sales departments to move projects forward.
- Communicate project status with regular updates for team members and management.
Qualifications:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel - comfortable working with large spreadsheets and manipulating text data
- Experience with data entry or working in database applications
- Excellent English writing ability
- Excellent verbal communication
- Experience with Adobe software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere) is a plus
- Experience with writing technical documentation and/or web content is a plus
- Experience with HTML and eCommerce websites is a plus
