As a Debt Specialist you are responsible for negotiating payment plan, resolving disputes and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You will be assisting debtors in resolving contractual obligations to a creditor.
Responsibilities:

Manage the debt collection process from start to finish, including contacting debtors, negotiating payment plans, and resolving disputes

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all debt collection activities

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing debt collection

Develop and maintain relationships with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders

Participate in training and development activities to improve debt collection skills and knowledge
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field

At least 3 years of experience in debt collection or related field

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Knowledge of state and federal debt collection laws and regulations

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent organizational and time management skills
Compensation:

Hourly + Commission! (pay structure gives you a safety net and also motivates you to do more)
