Swan Home Services of Denver, CO is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are looking to join a booming industry for our Residential HVAC Maintenance Technician positions.
No HVAC experience required as we offer paid technician and sales training.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on air conditioning systems, furnaces, coils, and compressors
- Demonstrate Respect and Compassion when communicating with clients on work performed
- Document service performed by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records with use of a tablet
- Complete all tasks in accordance with Service Champions quality and safety standards
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 + years experience performing preventative maintenance tune up's on air conditioners and furnaces *Preferably Residential experience
- EPA Type 2 Required Universal Preferred
- Good communicator - able to present options to customers for replacement or repair of their air conditioners and furnace equipment. Consultative Sales Experience a plus.
- Experience using technology such as a tablet to take notes and review invoices electronically with the customer
- Must have current and valid CO drivers' license
- Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- The principle duties of this position are performed in a variety of environments, including customer homes and outdoors
- Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
- Moderate physical effort required, including standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time and moderate exposure to physical risk such as heat, sun exposure, walking up ladders in excess of thirty feet, along with exposure to insects, rodents and sewage
- Required to work in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods of time.
- Experiences frequent interruptions; required to meet inflexible deadlines; requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills.
- Standing up to 8 hours per day; Walking up to 8 hours per day.
- Occasional heavy manual labor to include lifting and carrying up to 50-75 pounds.
- Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.
- Frequently works in closed or cramped spaces.
