Job Overview:
The Customer Experience and Shipping Specialist -Digital reports to the General Merchandising Manager at Springs Digital. This position is responsible for processing, shipping and confirmation of digital sample and production orders. The Customer Experience and Shipping Specialist -Digital must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong personnel management skills. In addition, a proven record of servicing customers and understanding manufacturing production. Knowledge of the decorative fabric and furniture industry and strong understanding of fabrics and printing is a plus. The position requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive and professional outlook.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Process customer orders received into Apprise System.
· Accurately enter order details into the system, including customer information, quantities, delivery/shipping instructions, and printing orders for the production floor.
· Verify order information and pricing.
· Collaborate with internal departments such as design, sales, quality control, inventory and manufacturing to resolve any order related issues or discrepancies.
· Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, provide tracking numbers, and resolving complaints in a timely and professional matter.
· Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in Monday.com.
· Prepare paperwork and shipments for work orders for all outside finishing and processing treatments.
· Work with General Merchandising Manager to plan and schedule production.
· Identifies all late and rush orders.
· Close out all jobs after completed by production.
· Ship all samples and production out to customers.
· Charge credit cards for in-house accounts.
· Other tasks as assigned by management.
Experience:
- Two or Four Year Degree.
- Three or more years’ experience in customer service and/or scheduling
- Strong Computer Skills – Microsoft, ERP Systems and Product Management/PLM Systems
- Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with customers and other employees.
- Ability to function as a team player.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of textiles and textile processing preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
