Veterinary Receptionist
We are seeking an experienced veterinary receptionist.
Qualifications: a minimum of 18 months of reception/assistant experience with a veterinary facility. Ideal candidate should have excellent client and co-worker communication skills, have a professional work ethic, be reliable for a full time schedule and able to perform scheduling, phone and email communications for a busy practice.
Candidate should be detail oriented, have word processing/typing skills, be familiar with digital/computer practice software, client/patient admission, scheduling appointments for multiple practitioners, obtaining and attaching referral records, transcription and letter drafts, creation and review of estimates and invoicing, animal patient restraint, general patient/kennel care, inventory restocking, as well as professional use of social media and marketing. Opening and closing duties including keeping the work environment organized and clean are also expected.
The job requires physical duties including but not limited to the ability to lift up to 40 lbs independently.
