Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Dietitian to join our Ambulatory Nutrition Team. The Clinical Dietitian will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing and implementing dietary plans, and providing nutrition counseling to promote overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments of patients to determine their dietary needs
- Develop personalized dietary plans based on patients' medical conditions and individual goals
- Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to dietary plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of dietetics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
- State licensure as a dietitian where required
- Strong knowledge of physiology, diagnostic evaluation, and health coaching
- Experience with tube feeding and patient assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
