Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Status: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with potential overtime/weekends)
Department: Warehouse
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Summary: We're looking for a detail-oriented and hardworking Quality Assurance warehouse associate to join our team! ou'll play a key role in ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently, with a strong emphasis on maintaining quality assurance throughout the receiving, storage, and shipping processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma and/or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Outlook
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and distributing supplies and products.
- Organize the warehouse for optimal space utilization and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Work collaboratively with other departments (QA, DCC, production) to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Help implement a new warehouse inventory management system that prioritizes quality assurance practices.
- Track and manage daily inventory using the FIFO method and generate monthly reports, ensuring data accuracy for quality control initiatives.
- Assist with annual physical inventory counts, contributing to inventory quality control measures.
- Manage various inventory records and prepare necessary reports.
Receiving:
- Verify incoming shipments against packing lists.
- Unload, load, and verify shipments.
- Sort and separate goods, log and update inventory records, and tag pallets.
- Stock pallets, skids, boxes, raw materials, and finished products in designated locations.
Shipping:
- Pick and sort finished goods for shipment.
- Ensure all required documents are attached and meet customer specifications to avoid penalties.
- Take photos of pallets before loading for customer reference.
- Communicate with truck drivers to confirm paperwork and shipment details are complete.
- Create shipping labels (FedEx, UPS) and prepare Advance Ship Notices (ASN) for customers.
- Track outbound shipments daily and update routing information.
- Address any shipping issues with carriers and resolve discrepancies (Over, Short & Damage), missing shipments, and weight discrepancies.
Additional Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
