Job Summary: Our company, a leading provider of medical imaging solutions in X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound, is seeking an experienced X-ray Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, scheduled planned maintenance (PM) events, and installation of medical imaging equipment at customers' facilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through ongoing maintenance, technical support, troubleshooting, and repairs of medical imaging equipment, including basic X-ray (stationary and portable), digital imaging, PACS and networking environments, C-Arms, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy systems.
- Install imaging equipment, manage projects, conduct site inspections, assist with site planning, and interact with customers and contractors to ensure site preparation meets OEM specifications.
- Complete all required state and FDA paperwork associated with the installation of radiation-generating equipment.
- Order parts and supplies necessary to maintain equipment and manage assigned tickets.
- Maintain a working knowledge and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide "On-Call" service coverage after normal business hours on a rotational basis with team members in the area.
- Complete all administrative duties, including service ticket closure, timesheet completion and submission, expense reporting, FDA reporting, radiation badge compliance, and care and maintenance of tools and test equipment as required by company policy.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Medical Imaging Field Service industry with proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing medical imaging equipment.
- Training and experience with the following OEMs and equipment lines is a plus:
- Carestream Medical Imaging Systems
- Quantum Medical Imaging
- Canon RadPRO Portables and In-room
- Del Medical
- Konica Minolta Digital Imaging Systems
- Fuji DR Imaging Products
- GE AMX Portables & OEC C-Arms
- Summit / Amrad Medical Imaging
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.
Education & Certifications:
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate's Degree in Electronics
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $820,000.00 per year
