Junior Energy Transactions Associate
Location: Houston, New York, or Washington D.C.
Salary: $225,000 to $250,000
A leading AM Law 200 firm seeks an attorney with 2-3 years of experience in Energy & Infrastructure transactions.
The successful candidate will join a team representing major national and international stakeholders in the energy market, handling matters throughout the project lifecycle and across various project financing structures, including sustainability-linked and green loan principles-aligned structures.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York, District of Columbia Bar, or Texas Bar (active and in good standing)
- 2-3 years of experience with Energy & Infrastructure transactions
- Experience in financing and/or private M&A transactions.
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience in project and energy financing, energy and infrastructure M&A, tax equity, or IRA credit (preferred)
The expected salary for this position is $225,000 to $250,000, depending on experience. The firm offers a comprehensive compensation package, including benefits in a collegial working environment that offers training and mentorship.
