Position Summary
The Director of IHX at Prime Communications will oversee a team of sales and support staff as they work to introduce residential customers to our award-winning TV service and technology in collaboration with our service installers responsible for the sales of AT&T products and services at the customer's home. This role consists of serving as a direct contact with clients, ensuring the best customer service and overseeing a team of In-Home Expert is responsible for the sales of AT&T products, services, and promotions as well as consistency in achieving and exceeding established sales targets and goals.
Responsibilities
- Exemplary Customer Service: Ensure your team develops and attains sales and service objectives within an assigned geographic territory. Demonstrate excellent customer service to all clients, build and maintain strong customer-company relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Meeting Sales Goals: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Evaluating Performance: Conduct regular performance evaluations of the IHX team to ensure individual and collective goals are being met. Provide constructive feedback and implement training programs to enhance the team's overall performance.
- Creating Sales Strategy: Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies to align with organizational objectives. Stay in touch with industry trends and market dynamics to adapt and refine sales approaches accordingly.
- Maintaining Staffing: Collaborate with the recruiting team to recruit, hire, and onboard qualified sales professionals. Develop and maintain a high-performing sales team through effective leadership and motivation.
- Coaching Sales Team: Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to the IHX team members to enhance their skills and foster professional growth. Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team is equipped with the latest product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Solving Problems: Address and resolve challenges or obstacles hindering the sales process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and streamline processes for improved efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory levels, stock rotation, and work with management to manage the inventory. Conduct monthly stock and inventory evaluations, identify, and address discrepancies, and maintain accurate and presentable inventory records.
- Loss Prevention Management: Coordinate with Loss Prevention to ensure any fraudulent or suspicious activity is addressed and resolved promptly and effectively. Implement effective security measures to prevent theft, shoplifting, and enforce safety standards that safeguard sensitive information and protect customer data.
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure that each member of your team is equipped to provide customers with hands-on demos that generate new sales - effectively and independently managing their own appointments to meet sales and service objectives. Monitor and account expenses within budgetary constraints. Enforce policies that align with business values and protect the brand of AT&T and Prime Communications. Collaborate with leadership and corporate teams to optimize supply chain and operational processes.
