Job Description: Project Designer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Project Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about human performance and possess strong architectural design skills. As a Project Designer, you will play a key role in translating our clients' vision into reality by providing comprehensive design solutions for their flooring and equipment projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with sales, designers, engineers, and internal teams to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints.
- Develop plan layouts and details to communicate design intent effectively.
- Create detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
- Specify materials, finishes, and equipment that align with project objectives, and performance requirements.
- Evaluate existing spaces and infrastructure to identify opportunities for optimization and clarify risks.
- Coordinate with project management and supply chain to ensure seamless project execution from design development through construction completion.
- Review and approve submittal drawings ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including junior designers and interns, as needed.
- Support internal process development to drive efficiencies and accuracy in design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on commercial or athletic facility design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
- Solid understanding of building codes, regulations, accessibility standards, and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent graphic presentation skills and ability to develop compelling visual narratives.
- Demonstrated expertise in space planning, spatial analysis, and ergonomics..
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
