GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The bilingual medical office clerk I is responsible for assisting patients, patient scheduling, reception, and telephones. IMMEDIATE HIRE - The person in this capacity ensures that the office is running smoothly and proficiently. Experience preferred. Mon - Thurs, 11-7:30 & Sat 8:45-3:15 . Pay- $15 -$17 per hour.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists daily office operations.
Assists staff in understanding and implementing clinic policies and procedures.
Establishes and maintains an efficient and responsive patient flow system.
Assist with office supply inventory, ensures that mail is opened and processed, and office are open and closed according to procedures.
Supports and upholds established policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control, and codes and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
Assists with patient scheduling, patient insurance.
- Assists with issues relating to office sites (exteriors and interiors), equipment, and grounds.
Assists maintenance and cleaning activities to ensure facilities are clean, safe, sanitary, and conducive to the delivery of quality patient care.
Handles a variety of matters involving contact with staff, insurance companies, governmental agencies, and the public.
Composes correspondence and disseminates to appropriate individuals.
Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls. Routes calls appropriately and courteously screen solicitors for relevance to business needs. Call doctor’s offices and family member as needed.
Provides patient scheduling, sanitize toys and other equipment.
