POSITION SUMMARY
The Evaluation Coordinator will be directly responsible for evaluation capture and management. This is not an entry level position; this position serves as a primary point of contact for all students, faculty, affiliate partners and outside members of the PCOM community and assists with all matters related to evaluations with respect to clinical rotations and accreditation standards. This person is responsible for creating and managing multiple platform and technical components in eValue while working closely with peers in the office to ensure accurate registrations and information directly related to evaluation generation and capture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages all aspects of evaluation generation and capture related to clinical rotations and accreditation standards, including the use of approved department technical platforms.
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Collect and compile student evaluation data for all clinical rotations; maintain data in accordance with standards for grading, accreditation, and federal compliance.
- Conduct periodic audits of system use and data integrity and record findings; take or recommend corrective action on audit findings, including revising policies and procedures, as applicable.
- Ensure proper utilization of the department’s electronic evaluation platform (eValue); collaborate with other PCOM departments, affiliate partners, and vendors, as applicable, to improve the effectiveness of evaluation capture systems (i.e., Banner, eValue).
- Run regular and ad hoc reports regarding evaluation submissions and capture and distribute to designated recipients, as required.
- Maintain updated student schedules and preceptor assignments in Banner.
- Manage the process of transposing paper evaluations, including staff involved in the process.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Hours
- Position hours 9:00-5:00, Monday through Friday with altered hours required on occasion for special functions.
Education
- BS degree (required) an Associates degree with seven or more years of practical experience may be considered
Experience
- A minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative support, program management, or project coordination role in a fast-paced office with preference given to college or university environment.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suit of products is required. Experience using Banner, E-Value and Blackboard preferred.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal.
- High level of computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentations, email, and virtual meeting applications, preferably on the Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 platforms.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods, up to eight hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to view computer screens for extended periods, up to eight hours per day.
- Manual dexterity and mobility in order to use personal computers and other office equipment.
Salary Range: $50,000 – $55,000
The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
