```Job Summary```
We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Childcare Asistant to join our team. As a Childcare provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care through play. Working with small children, requires active play. All candidates must be able to be energetic, able to run, jump and lift 35 pounds. We play outdoors as much as possible, often go on walks around town and hike local trails. ```Duties```
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children of various ages
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Foster positive role modeling with social interactions among children
- Assist with mealtime routines, including preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Change diapers, assist with potty training, and ensure proper hygiene practices
- Provide guidance in appropriate behavior management techniques
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
- Communicate effectively with team members and parents
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience working with children, such as babysitting, nannying, or working in a preschool or daycare setting
- Knowledge of basic child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
-Good communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other staff members
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.75 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
