Marketing Technology (MarTech) Specialist

The MarTech Specialist will be able to join TradePMR at an exciting time of growth playing an instrumental role in managing and expanding our MarTech stack to support these needs. This position affords the right candidate the opportunity to influence the MarTech stack evolution and marketing’s impact. The candidate should have a deep understanding of MarTech product options, a solutions-focused approach, technical savvy, and a passion for MarTech.
Responsibilities
- Stay informed on the latest marketing technology trends and identify new marketing tools that can enhance team performance and improve ROI.
- Act as a trusted advisor on processes, platforms, and products within the Marketing Technology function.
- Own the evolution of the marketing tech stack:
o Research and recommend new marketing technology products (including technical reviews of the products and vendor negotiations)
o Onboard new tools including training staff and supporting adoption.
o Identify new integrations to support new needs and gaps.
o Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables for new product set up and adoption.
- Manage and maintain the current MarTech stack (including HubSpot, Zapier, Monday, CallRail, Ziflow, Popl, Spotify, GA4 and GTM, LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and many more)
o Operate marketing technology products as an administrator (building within products and addressing any issues) including marketing elements of our CRM and ensuring proper integrations with other marketing tools.
o Provide solutions and recommendations for best practices and processes involving current technology to aid various marketing and business development projects and objectives.
o Establish and nurture company cross-functional relationships related to the marketing tools to support business objectives of our internal stakeholders.
o Maintain vendor relationships, and train and support marketing staff on existing products.
o Monitor data quality within marketing technology products.
o Ensure the flow of work, information, and data by centralizing and organizing data ingestion.
- Marketing Performance Tracking and Testing:
o Stay informed on campaign tracking best practices (ex: pixel, cookies, etc.), including HubSpot options, to advise on tracking for each project and paid advertising effort launch.
o Learn and evangelize the specific procedures for campaign implementation when new technology or additional ad management systems are introduced.
o Support the creative team in tracking and set up of A/B tests to improve website user flows and conversion rates.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience owning a MarTech stack (ex: CRM, integrations, project management tools, digital marketing tools, social media platforms, analytic platforms)
- 3+ years of experience with CRMs (preferably HubSpot)
- Experience with GA4, GTM, CRO testing tools (Ex: A/B testing), and workflows preferred.
- Understanding of digital campaign processes including creating UTM parameters and applying taxonomy to multiple ad accounts.
- Experience working in an environment focused on continuous improvement - adapts quickly to new circumstances or priorities and willing to contribute new ideas.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience working independently, as well as within cross-functional teams, in a collaborative and professional environment.
- Have a knack for learning new technology.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Above and Beyond
- Knowledge of coding languages (such as HTML or JavaScript)
- Report building experience in Google Data Studio or Power Bi
This role resides in the Marketing department within the Marketing Operations team and reports to the Assistant Marketing Director. TradePMR’s Marketing Operations team is responsible for maintaining and improving the MarTech stack, department operations, performance reporting and delivering actionable insights.
