Job Description: Irrigation Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of irrigation systems installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
- Develop irrigation plans and schedules, ensuring efficient water usage and compliance with local regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to identify irrigation system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Supervise and train irrigation technicians, providing guidance on best practices and safety procedures.
- Manage inventory of irrigation equipment, tools, and materials, and procure supplies as needed.
- Maintain records of irrigation system installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to irrigation systems.
Certifications and Experience:
- Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Landscape Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Experience managing irrigation projects and supervising a team of technicians.
- Proficiency in irrigation design software and familiarity with irrigation system components and technologies.
Wire Capabilities:
- Proficiency in low-voltage wiring for irrigation controllers and sensors.
- 2-wire irrigation systems
- Familiarity with electrical wiring for pump stations and other irrigation system components.
Leadership Qualities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate team members.
- Ability to make sound decisions, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire teamwork, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Compensation Package:
- Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
