Responsibilities of the job:
- Answer inbound patient calls to support scheduling, general medical questions and help coordinate patient needs.
- Manage medical provider schedules/reschedules/cancel appointments as requested.
- Triage patient calls to assess severity/complexity/appropriate action of call.
- Timely website appointment request/ custom form maintenance.
- Interact as resource to staff on website questions and issues.
- Talk to patients having problems with the website and solve website/EMR issues.
- Relay and explain lab/radiology, and other results to patients.
- Relay provider message/instructions.
- Refill medications per protocol
Hours: 8 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday

Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Dependable & punctual
- Desire to serve patients
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to type 40-50 WPM (words per minute)
Preferred:
- Medical Assistant Diploma & Certification
- Experience using an electronic medical record
- Experience in a primary care setting
