Responsibilities:
- This job acts as both one of the cashiers AND hosts for the restaurant.
- Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; put them on a wait list as necessary
- Take customer orders on the phone or at the counter. Manage and control in house and 3rd Party delivery orders
- Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations
- Manage the flow of Guests into the dining area, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests if appropriate
- Observant to Guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service (i.e. notice a drink refill is needed while seating another Guest and ensuring the drink is refilled prior to getting back to the door).
- Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Pack food items and prepare take out drinks and desserts
- Ensure a balance of register and restaurant activities at the end of the shift
