Notre Dame High School, San Jose is the center for women’s leadership in Silicon Valley and has provided an exceptional Catholic college preparatory education for young women since 1851. The school's mission is guided by the teachings of Saint Julie Billiart, the foundress of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, with a strong focus on social justice to create lifelong learners, spiritual seekers, justice advocates and community leaders. The Notre Dame Athletic Program
Notre Dame High School Athletics provides our student athletes with an opportunity to develop as individuals and members of the community. We offer 11 competitive interscholastic sports over three seasons and compete in the West Bay Athletic League (WBAL) and Central Coast Section (CCS)
Responsibilities:
- Teach Sports Medicine class
- Help Coordinate Strength and Conditioning program
- Develop injury prevention strategies/Injury evaluation/treatment and referral
- Oversee concussion protocols, testing and follow-up
- Manage student athlete medical records
- Attend all home athletic competitions
- Maintain Medical Equipment
- Communicate with administration, coaches, parents and student-athletes
- Enhance team physician relationship
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training; Master’s Degree preferred
- BOC Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three to five years of high school athletic training experience
- Current teaching credential
- Demonstrated leadership capacity
