Position Title/Type: LPN Office Nurse - Admissions & Assessments - Full Time
Schedule Hiring For: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends
Pay: $28/hour
Woodhaven Treatment Center, a leading voluntary adult alcohol and drug treatment facility, has an immediate opening for a dedicated and compassionate LPN Office Nurse. As an LPN Office Nurse, you will play a crucial role in conducting initial medical assessments and developing treatment plans to meet the unique needs of our clients, enhancing their quality of life and supporting their journey to recovery.
Key Responsibilities

Medical Assessments: Conduct initial medical assessments within 24 hours of admission.

Treatment Planning: Develop initial treatment plans based on comprehensive psychosocial, nursing, medical, and psychiatric assessments.

Medical Support: Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with client medical assessments.

Medication Administration: Prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with physician orders.

Health Training: Participate in staff and client health training sessions and infection control training.

Client Education: Conduct health and well-being classes for clients.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments and agencies to enhance client care and staff development.

Compliance: Keep abreast of nursing care issues, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Complete all documentation and assessments by the end of the shift or within the required time frame.

Confidentiality: Respect the confidential nature of client information by following all release of information policies and procedures.

Additional Duties: Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements:
Qualifications

Licensure: Active LPN license in Ohio, in good standing.

CPR Certification: Current CPR certification or willing to obtain.

Experience: Preferably one year of experience in psychiatric and/or chemical dependency settings.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of addiction treatment, detox procedures, and mental health care preferred.
