Job Summary:
Join our team as a FT/PT Outpatient Psychotherapist specializing in Child and Adult therapy. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide psychotherapy services to children and adults, focusing on behavioral wellness care. Duties:
- Conduct psychotherapy sessions for children and adults, utilizing specialized techniques for each age group
- Implement behavior management strategies tailored to children's needs
- Provide support and guidance to individuals with special education requirements
- Offer counseling services for infants and toddlers in need of emotional support
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure holistic care for clients
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Stay updated on best practices in child and adult psychotherapy
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and adults
- Experience in toddler care, childcare, or classroom management is preferred
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques for children
- Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
