Move & Delivery Concierge
CSS is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated move and delivery concierge to join our high-end residential environment. In this position, you will play a key role in guiding residents’ moves and deliveries into and out of the building. This includes performing various administrative and clerical tasks to support the residents of our community. You should be comfortable undertaking a variety of customer service and office activities including greeting residents, answering phones, filing, organizing documents, basic tracking. Reliability and a strong work ethic combined with great communication skills are a must, as well as familiarity with all necessary office equipment, software, and procedures. You are the point of contact and liaison for the residents and all participating agents providing excellent follow-through while maintaining quality assurance at every level of assistance and action.
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 8a-6:30p (3 – 10-hour shifts, 30hours per week)

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide superior customer service for a strong willed and highly focused resident community. Be consistent and provide a welcoming touch for all resident interaction while maintaining a professional presence.
- Maintain communication throughout the move process with service coordinator, building management, Concierge staff, homeowners, and delivery personnel.
- Provides specific guidelines and information to residents and delivery personnel to ensure there are no unforeseen obstacles to move/delivery.
- Manages accessibility to garage/loading dock areas to ensure space is available for delivery trucks and or moving vans.
- Ensures appropriate move elevators are designated and ready for moves or deliveries.
- Set up and maintain all records on each move.
- Documents pre/post site condition to ensure any new damage to common areas are recorded.
- Communicate any damage to appropriate parties.
- Keep a consistent log of activities and information passing through the front desk from your shift. Should a situation rise to abnormal or require management attention, complete an incident report, and monitor the report to completion.
- Enforce Association policies and declaration requirements and inform residents as required about policies.
- Take on administrative projects that support the general operation of the building as assigned by management.
- Work diligently on tasks to ensure the overall success of the operation and provide the best service possible for residents.
Skills and Knowledge
- Highly organized and able to use a variety of methods of communication and software
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
- Basic design skills to create communication strategies
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and basic principles of service
- Able to learn new software with changes to building and security systems
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some technical or associates degree desired
- Successful work experience in a front office setting or in another clerical position
- Proficient in Microsoft programs including Excel and Outlook
- 2 – 3 Years experience preferred
Physical and Environmental
- Ability to stand on a cement surface for up to 4 hours at a time. Able to walk at distances of up to 350 feet from lobby elevators to garage door and unit floors.
- Able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Able to climb a ladder.
- Able to work in indoor and outdoor temperatures.
- Work around delivery trucks and equipment.
- Fine manipulation of phone and keyboards
