Job Title: Project Engineer

Reports To: V.P. of Engineering
Summary:
A Project Engineer is responsible for developing and documenting the processes to manufacture products that meet or exceed the customers’ requirements. The Project Engineer will review the product defining documents provided by the customer and create a process that will meet or exceed these requirements. The Project Engineer is responsible for developing the production processes and troubleshooting any issues.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Work with cross functional team to develop and document intended manufacturing processes.
· Create product routings.
· Create operator work instructions.
· Evaluate dimensional data and revise processes to eliminate any non-nonconformance.
· Disposition any non-conforming material.
· Create rework processes for any non-conformances as required.
· Troubleshoot and revise processes to eliminate non-conformances.
· Understands and follows Standard Manufacturing Guidelines.
· Performs other tasks assigned as required.
Qualifications:
· Highly organized individual with attention to detail.
· Ability to break down large complex projects into smaller manageable tasks.
· Ability to work with a cross functional team.
· Must be a data driven problem solver.
· Proficient in GD&T and dimensional data analysis.
Education and Experience:
· 5-8 years of experience in a Project Engineering or related role.
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 8 years of experience in an engineering role.
· 5-8 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, welding and/or machining.
· Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD inventor.
· Aerospace experience is preferred.
Physical Demands:
· Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
· Keyboarding
· Verbal communication with others.
· Physically tracking parts on the manufacturing floor.
