Description/Job Summary
Dickey Farms has been growing peaches in middle Georgia for over 125 years. Our peaches are sold all across the U.S. through grocery chains, at our retail market here in Musella, and online; shipped directly to customer’s doorsteps. The candidate will provide administrative support and assistance to all aspects of the business. The position requires the ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
Candidate must have flexibility with schedule, some week days and some weekend availability.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Answer incoming calls in a friendly helpful manner
- Assist customers on the phone and through email.
- Maintain an orderly work flow and coordinate administrative duties using various forms of communication to ensure efficient, courteous, and timely resolution to internal and external contacts.
- Complete various reports for farm activities
- Input data into Excel reports
- Assist retail with making retail labels
- Assist with coordinating school field trips/and festivals
- Various other office task/duties as assigned by manager
Preferred Skills
· Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
· Proficient in use of Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
· Ability to initiate, organize and prioritize multiple activities.
· Ability to work independently
Required Education
· Minimum of a High School Diploma.
· Education and/or administrative experience equivalent to an Associate's degree preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.25 - $15.00 per hour
