We are looking for someone who has previous experience in non-profit organizations and has experience in corporate relations. Someone who will succeed in this position are people who can bring in 5 - 10+ corporations as new or current clients that is interested in supporting our missions, visions, and goals. This individual will need to be charismatic, friendly, and most important, culturally sensitive.
*Duties may change accordingly due to independent discretion as the position is contracted/1099. The only thing USPAACC needs is a detailed invoice that has detailed and proven notes on progress, outcomes, and results.
Duties:
Responsible for continuous development of corporate, government, and other organizations (i.e. other NPOs) relationships with USPAACC. Reach, engage, continue, grow and acquire new partnerships through membership, sponsorship, or other collaboration efforts. Provide superior service for existing members, sponsors, and partners.
- Identify, recruit, generates new leads, and fosters new business relationships with Fortune 1000, Government Agencies, Large Non-Profits, and other relevant community-based organizations/clients with the corporate development team
- Renew and engage consistently with existing corporate and government membership and sponsorship.
- Provide superior client/account service through:
- Making calls, replying to emails, and meeting in-person (when applicable) in a pleasant and professional manner
- Active listening and identification of mutually beneficial activities and engagement opportunities
- Collaborating and ensuring alignment with USPAACC's priorities by exercising knowledge and relationships of internal departments - Programs, AAB, Marketing, Office Operations, and the Executive Office
- Provide/Handle corporate and government membership or sponsorship requests (RFP/RFQ, marketing requests, speaker requests, program participation, committee invitations, etc.).
- Engage them in other USPAACC marketing/outreach campaigns as they come up
- Participates in initial program idea generation activities as it relates to clients/accounts' interests
- Understands and shares ideas for strategic planning to identify procurement trends, potential new relationships, potential challenges, and competitive edge in the non-profit market by keeping up with news, other organizations activities, and other related information
- Takes initiative to learn about current socio-economic and political environment, USPAACC programs and events, and other ways to add value to deepen benefit to members, sponsors, and overall organization offerings.
External Engagement
- Selectively attends and represents USPAACC when appropriate at meetings and events
- Participate in any training or meetings USPAACC requires or suggests
Administrative
- Invoice that includes not only hours worked, but results, progress, and outcomes that quantifies what was completed.
- Keep updated, detailed notes and action items for new and existing clients.
- Do what is needed administratively to maintain or obtain new corporate partners.
Time Commitment
- 20-35 hours a week; quantifiable with proven results invoiced to USPAACC.
- 2 or 3 days in office, some days work from home.
- Will attend program calls and meetings as applicable
- Will attend CelebrASIAN Business Development Conference in-person/virtual* - must be comfortable with travelling.
- Will attend staff and department meetings when necessary
- Must be comfortable with travelling up to 25% of the time.

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
