About the Opportunity
Christian Art Gifts has an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist. While this position is listed as full-time, part-time status would be considered for the right candidate.
Job Duties:
- Provide customer support for a diverse customer base consisting of our wholesale, international, and marketplace consumers
- Receive and review orders place via website, various marketplaces, sales reps, phone, email, and fax
- Enter accurate orders, verifying customer PO, pricing, quantity discounts, item availability, backorder preferences, sales rep, shipping address, ship date, etc.
- Provide prompt communication with customer/sales rep to resolve questions
- Answer phone: taking orders, initiating customer service cases, and directing calls to others as needed
- Communicate professionally and effectively with customers and sales reps, via email and phone
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding opening a wholesale account, terms, discounts, specials, new product, product descriptions, product scripture verses, backorders, item availability/anticipated ship dates, etc.
- Use good judgement in immediate resolution of customer concerns. Exercising appropriate discretion in escalating customer concerns
- Provide customers with accurate product information and descriptions
- Present a willingness to be flexible and adapt to needs within the department
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in Order Entry/Customer Service for a wholesale distributor. Retail experience is helpful.
- Accurate data entry skills with experience entering transactions in an ERP system.
- NetSuite ERP experience helpful.
- Solid knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of various customer channels and the unique customer service requirements of each – consumers, distributors, retailers, big box retailers, amazon, etc.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent math skills - Add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Strong commitment to customer-service excellence
