Our Registered Nurses (RN's) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s) are licensed by the State of Ohio and provide general nursing care to our residents by performing the following key duties:
Essential Key Duties and Responsibilities :
Explains procedures and treatments to residents to gain cooperation, understanding, and to prevent apprehension
Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques
Prepares equipment and aids Physician during treatment and examination of residents while maintaining awareness of safety and comfort
Observes residents, records significant conditions and reactions and notifies Physician or Supervisor of resident’s condition and reaction to medications, treatments and significant incidents after assessing the condition of the patient
Documents nursing history and physical assessment for assigned residents
High level of organization, communication, and clinical skills needed to perform the job successfully in addition to demonstrating the required core competencies
