About the Role:
Performs complex chemical and physical analysis on in-process and finished products and R&D samples to ensure specifications are met. Makes accept/reject decision on incoming raw materials and pre-shipment samples. Can function as the sole quality spokesperson on site, during off shifts and weekends. High degree of analytical and instrumentation training, the ability to make independent judgment. Interacts with other departments to communicate testing results. Audits incoming supplies and materials.
· Perform all lab testing in a safe, professional manner and follow all laboratory safety requirements
· Sample and audit retail and industrial packaging.
· Audit of incoming raw materials.
· Be able to complete a Certificate of Analysis for shipments requiring COA’s with the load.
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role Monday through Friday on the Night shift 11 p.m. to 7 am. Including potential daily OT and weekend overtime.
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
· A relevant secondary education degree and/or equivalent work experience is required.
· Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
· Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing is a plus
