Job Duties:
Spot and assist Drivers to correctly set (Unload) and lift and / or load rig pieces for transport.

Correctly attaching bridles to equipment and winch line of trucks.

Assisting Drivers in proper load tie down, using chains and / or straps; and using all appropriate signs for flagging.

Work with Rig Crews, aiding in the assembly and / or disassembly of drilling rigs and oil field equipment.

Assist Drivers in performing daily maintenance and inspections of trucks, trailers and equipment.

Work as a Team member with other Swampers and Drivers.

Complete and turn in job tickets and job ticket related paperwork daily.

Maintain a valid driver’s license and when cited or ticketed; advised Company Safety Department and Operations Department for either civil or criminal ticket.

Subject to Company needs, Swampers are required to work overtime, after hours and weekends.

Follow Company Safety Policies and Procedures.

Communicate fully and effectively with Dispatchers and Drivers.

Advise Safety Department off all near misses and / or incidents.

Lift 100 pounds.

Work outdoors in hot or cold climates and uneven terrain for more than eight hours a day.

Knowledge of applicable oil field standards and codes.

- Perform all other duties as assigned from time to time by supervisors.
