Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operates heavy equipment of various types, primarily mini-excavator and skid steer to perform all aspects of construction.

Properly follows company safety procedures. Bring problems to the attention of the foreman, superintendent, safety director, or HR manager.

Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or needed repairs to the supervisor; cleans equipment.

Candidate will possess knowledge of moisture conditions, cut grade, and ability to load trucks.

Candidate will possess knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, cutting, and filling grades.

The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of backfill and compaction techniques.

Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Recognize unsafe conditions or hazards, with the ability to correct and comply with safety protocols.

Read and understand pool blueprints/plans thoroughly.

Confidently layout pool according to plans, to ensure accurate measurements.

Set grades, structures, and components of the final product.

Operate Excavator, Skid Steer & other types of heavy equipment.
-
Position is not strictly an operator position, applicant is expected to assist with all other labor aspects of construction phases on projects.
Qualifications
-
Mini-excavator and Skid steer experience
- Valid Driver’s License

Plumbing Experience, a plus
-
Knowledge of proper backfill and compaction process beneficial.
Ability to:

Travel out of town if required.

Work Weekends or extended hours if necessary

Ability to lift 90 lbs.

Demonstrate strong customer service skills and establish, maintain, and foster positive and effective working relationships.

Work well with others in a team environment.

Pass a background and drug screening.
