We are seeking a highly skilled Architect with a strong background in .NET technologies and React ecosystem, including Next JS, to join our multinational corporation.
With 12 to 16 years of experience, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable solutions that drive our Property & Casualty Insurance services forward, making a significant impact on our business and clients.
- Select and implement appropriate technologies for application development, considering factors like scalability, security, and performance
- Lead or participate in the design, development, and deployment of applications, ensuring consistency to coding standards and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies relevant to the insurance and risk management industry
- Lead the design and architecture of robust .NET and React-based applications to meet business requirements.
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions using .NET, C# .Net, React, and Next JS.
- Implement and maintain RESTful services and GraphQL APIs for seamless data exchange and integration.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure architectural designs are aligned with business goals.
- Drive the adoption of standard methodologies in code quality, security, and scalability.
- Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve.
- Document development phases and monitor systems.
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
- Proactively fix and resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into the architecture.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on software development standard processes.
- Rest API, .Net Programming-C# .Net, React, Graphql, React JS, Next JS, ARIS Business Use Cases
- Proven experience in .NET, .Net Programming-C# .Net, React, React JS, and Next JS is required.
- Strong understanding of Rest API and GraphQL is essential.
- Experience with Cloud Technologies like Azure
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are crucial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- A commitment to achieving project goals and deadlines is expected.
- Experience in DDD design patterns, CQRS, and Clean architecture

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 – $161,700 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
