We are searching for a variable part-time mental health worker to join us in making a difference in people’s lives. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. They will also enjoy working with a mixed caseload of adults, adolescents, and families that are experiencing behavioral/mental health issues, or family conflict.
This position allows you the flexibility to create your own schedule. Typical workdays are Monday – Friday in an office setting. You should be comfortable with providing therapy via telehealth if needed.
What will I do?
- You will participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team and in the development of a client’s psychosocial evaluation and remedy plan for individuals on their assigned caseload
- You will provide and monitor psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families and groups in a competent, professional manner according to the components described in the treatment plan and document all provision of services.
- You will work in conjunction with CONCERN Case Managers to implement treatments and individual program descriptions, schedule assigned clients according to CONCERN delivery standards, fulfill all case management duties in a timely fashion and professional manner maintaining high standards of confidentiality and consistently reach assigned billable expectations weekly.
- You will handle reports and progress notes of assigned clients following required deadlines and ensure all aspects of files are complete, current and in accordance with auditing, payer standards and regulations.
- You will help clients develop and implement aftercare plans.
- You will take part in scheduled staff meetings, in-service gatherings, Quality Assurance audits and supervision with the Program Psychiatrist and Clinical Supervisor as directed.
- You will maintain a positive, professional relationship with all linkage and referral agencies.
- If applicable, you will serve in telephone intakes of new referrals on a rotating schedule as needed along with telemedicine and daytime crisis coverage and services as requested.
- If properly licensed and prior approval given, you may conduct mental health assessments to produce written orders for the IBHS programs
What will I need?
Bachelor’s degree in a clinical discipline (required)
AND
Two or more years of experience in a mental health related field serving children (preferred)
Other Requirements
- You will maintain required state and federal clearances and/or credentials.
- You will have a valid driver’s license.
- You will demonstrate proven organizational and effective prioritization skills.
- You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Billable Rates (time spent providing direct care to your client)
$25.00/hour per billable hour
Administrative Pay (for anything done outside of direct client care)
Training/Supervision $14.00/hour
Paperwork/Phone Calls- $7.50/hour
