Position Overview:
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the HR department, assisting with various HR functions and initiatives to ensure the smooth operation of our workforce management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding processes, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and assisting with paperwork completion.
- Maintain accurate HR records and databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Process payroll and maintain timesheet records in coordination with the finance department.
- Assist with employee relations matters, including responding to inquiries and routing to appropriate HR staff.
- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as training programs, performance management, and employee engagement activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
Qualifications:
- Associate and Bachelor’s degrees in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a human resources department.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with HRIS software and payroll systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
