Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the manufactured products including laundry & foodservice equipment: washers, dryers, cooking, refrigeration, and dish-washing equipment
Input all information related to the warranty call in our system.
Ship or request to ship necessary parts to take care of the warranty failure.
Follow up open calls until issues have been resolved.
Update information for parts used under warranty in our system.
Customer service related to parts identification (using parts breakdowns), inventory availability and estimated delivery times.
Handle parts warranty orders in coordination with our service team
Place purchase orders to our factories (suppliers) and follow up with them if parts are not in stock.
Provide proper instructions to the warehouse for proper receiving and shipping of parts.
Arrange logistics for parts shipments. Maintain knowledge of inventory levels, pricing, and product information Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly Identify customer needs and recommend suitable laundry & foodservice parts Keep the parts area clean, organized, and visually appealing Provide information on product features, benefits, and usage Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs Telephone support - answer calls for Parts & Service Departments Working with closely with office manager to insure receiving, returns and costs are accurate Conduct physical counts of parts/supplies for cycle inventory Unload trucks and signs for shipments; inspects for damage and returns if necessary Assist in shipping and receiving by unpacking/packing boxes, stock parts on shelves
Requirements:
1+ years previous experience in a parts department position; preferably in a commercial laundry equipment
Excellent communication and presentation skills; both written and verbal.
Above average customer service and communication skills for both written and verbal
Bilingual preferred (English as primary, Spanish as secondary language).
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
