Duties:
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise according to company standards
- Ensure products are organized and easily accessible for customers
- Receive and unpack merchandise shipments
- Inspect products for quality and report any damaged or expired items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor
- Assist customers with locating products and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or stocking role is preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of retail math, such as counting inventory and calculating discounts
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized stockroom and sales floor
