Overview:
Housing Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and providing affordable housing and tailored services to reduce homelessness and poverty in Snohomish County and Camano Island. We achieve this through a variety of interventions including social enterprises, children's services, subsidized housing opportunities, and employment, education, and training services.
Purpose:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Director of Programs is responsible for leading and managing the Program team, overseeing the implementation of programming and service delivery, guiding the overall strategy for program curricula and training, and ensuring effective evaluation and quality management. The Senior Director of Programs will collaborate with the leadership team to advance organizational goals and cross-departmental priorities.
Essential Functions:
PROGRAM LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT

Guide and inspire the Program team with human-centered leadership.

Ensure continuous growth and development of staff through coaching, mentoring, and continuous feedback.

Create and maintain a team culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Manage service delivery programs and supervise staff, including the Directors of Human Services, Employment, Education and Training, and Tomorrow's Hope Child Development Center.
PROGRAMMING & SERVICE DELIVERY
-
Guide and determine strategic goals and vision for programming in collaboration with Program Directors.

Develop and oversee strategy for services across the organization.

Oversee the development and management of Snohomish County partnerships and enrichment partners.
-
Monitor and maintain appropriate staffing levels for program implementation.

Oversee the development and management of the program department budget.
CURRICULA & TRAINING STRATEGY

Support the development and implementation of the plan for ongoing curricula updates and training needs.

Oversee curricula and training quality management strategy.
-
Serve as a consultant for major curricula changes and amendments.

Attend Program Facilitator meetings and retreats.
EVALUATION & QUALITY MANAGEMENT

Support and guide the development and implementation of the overall evaluation and quality management strategy.

Ensure all programmatic efforts meet and exceed the needs of partners and communities.

Monitor program data in collaboration with program staff and identify needed changes/adjustments.

Collaborate with evaluation and administrative staff to assess changes/updates to the evaluation and quality management plan.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage overall program budget.

Report programmatic activities regularly to board, staff, and funders.

Review grant proposals and attend funder meetings to support organizational development work.

Identify programmatic and system needs and collaborate with administrative staff to build and update systems and protocols.
Required Education & Experience:
-
7+ years of experience in managing programs and leading teams responsible for similar types of programs.

Current licensure in the State of Washington in one of the helping professions (e.g., Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology).

Experience working in culturally diverse environments and a deep understanding of issues related to diversity and cultural responsiveness.

Strong management/leadership skills with the ability to engage team members and key constituents in pursuit of goals.

Experience managing a budget.

Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication.

Knowledge and experience with curriculum development, training, facilitation, and quality control of programs.

Skilled in strategic management of partnerships and/or collaborations.

Strong technical skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Must be able to travel regularly throughout Snohomish County, Washington and other areas as needed. Valid driver's license is required.

Available to work evenings/weekends as required.
Desired Qualifications:
-
A master's degree in social work, public health, public administration, nonprofit management, education, or related field, may be substituted for two years of the required experience.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
