Missouri NEA is seeking applicants for the position of Executive Administrative Assistant.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Significant experience or education (3-5 years) in administrative support and project management experience,
- Experience in human resources processes,
- Ability to work confidentially with sensitive information,
- Strong Microsoft Office, graphics, web and cloud-based software, database, and computer skills,
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, analytical, presentation skills,
- Detail oriented,
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work as a team.
JOB DUTIES
- Provide executive administrative support to the MNEA President, Vice President, and Executive Director,
- Provide executive administrative support to the MNEA Board of Directors and Missouri representatives on the NEA Board of Directors,
- Serve as secretary for all governance official meetings,
- Ensure human resources processes are followed including development of checklists for posting, hiring, and onboarding of new staff,
- Provide administrative support to the Manager of Enterprise Operations,
- Assist with conference and event planning and logistics,
- Serve as associate level support for the association’s membership database system,
- Coordinate approval process for HOPE fund requests for the MNEA Charitable Fund,
- Perform other duties as assigned by MNEA management.
Salary Range and Benefits: Starting salary range $37,150 to $50,305. Full salary range 37,150 to 66,017. Placement on salary schedule depends upon previous relevant experience. Benefits, as outlined in the staff union (MSO) agreement include health and dental insurance, 100% employer paid pension contributions vested upon employment, and generous leave package.
