Job Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for working alongside the Facilities and Equipment Manager in driving the company’s Facilities and Maintenance Success. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our facilities, equipment, and grounds. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and well-maintained environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address maintenance needs, safety hazards, and potential issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs or coordinate with specialized contractors when needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts used.
- Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and materials, reordering as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure proper coordination of maintenance tasks.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment for employees and visitors.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.

Education and Experience:
3+ Years of experience in a Facilities Maintenance, or similar role
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general building maintenance
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to facilities maintenance.
OSHA-10 Certification Preferred
Machine Operating Experience, a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to Perform all Facilities Work
Must be able to drive a CMV.
Often required to sit, stand, walk, bend knees, and stretch arms.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
