Behavior Technician
Duties:
- Implement behavior support plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist individuals in acquiring and maintaining skills necessary for daily living
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collect data on individual progress and behavior interventions
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify behavior support plans
- Assist with crisis intervention and management as needed
Skills:
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices
- Experience in crisis intervention and management
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Understanding of addiction counseling principles
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Ability to implement behavior management techniques effectively
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical procedures
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team.
