The hours for this position are estimated to be: M-TH 2:00pm-5:30/6:00pm, F 10:30-6:00pm
Applicants Need:
Strong leadership and organizational skills, strong communication skills, commitment to the welfare of children and their families, ability to give and receive feedback positively, ability to respond quickly and decisively in critical situations, ability to work with diversity, possess the physical strength and abilities to perform job duties and strong social skills. Education and Experience (Teacher Assistant)
- Experience working with children preferred
- Completion of mandated reporter training or willingness to complete
Education and Experience (Teacher)
- Minimum of 12 Units in psychology, sociology, education, PE, nursing, art, music, theater arts, dance, home economics, human services, and/or social welfare)
- Red Cross First Aid Class and current CPR certification or willingness to be certified
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a licensed facility
- Completion of mandated reporter training or willingness to complete
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
