**Company Description.**
Chimney Pond Farm is currently a 25,000+ Christmas tree farm on 75 acres in Glenville, NC; about 80 min drive from Asheville. We also host 30+ weddings annually and host many of our guests in the multiple farmhouses and accommodations on the farm. Our aim at CPF is to continue the growth of the farm over the next few years and expand into markets we do not currently operate in. This stunning farm is in a serious growth phase, and we are looking for value creating additions to our team.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Chimney Pond Farm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
**Responsibilities:**
- Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and maintain financial reports
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with payroll processing
- Handle tax preparation tasks
- Support in maintaining accurate financial records
**Qualifications:**
- Proficiency in 10-key typing
- Experience in bank reconciliation and account reconciliation
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounting software
- Previous experience as a clerk or bookkeeper
- Familiarity with financial concepts and tax regulations
- Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
