Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings and fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive dental care
- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or Dentrix systems
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or other dental practice management software
- Knowledge of Epic electronic health record system is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
