Dallas Academy seeks a Director of Admissions to lead the School’s admissions program managing all aspects of outreach, recruitment, and enrollment. Nestled near White Rock Lake in beautiful Lake Highlands, a suburb of East Dallas, the School is centrally located in the heart of Dallas. This 1st-12th grade co-ed school is marked by a rich and colorful history. With over 50 years of service, Dallas Academy reached a milestone in 2015-2016 by gaining the distinction of being the oldest school in the State of Texas to serve students with learning differences.

Title: Director of Admissions
(2024-2025 School Year)
Director of Admissions will be asked to embrace the School’s mission and direct a vision that takes the School to new heights. This role is a member of the leadership team and reports directly to the Head of School. The Director of Admissions is responsible for developing a comprehensive admissions program and implementing a strategy for admissions that includes enrollment objectives and an action plan. The Director serves as a member of the administrative team and works closely with leadership and faculty on the operations of the School.
The Director of Admissions must have excellent communication and technology skills, a warm and professional demeanor, experience in private school admissions, and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
· Supports and promotes the mission of Dallas Academy in all enrollment efforts
· Plans and implements all aspects of the admissions program including admissions events, campus tours, student visits, and orientation
· Manages prospects and inquiries, conducts initial interviews and collects all required diagnostic testing and admissions information
· Manages admissions data and tracks enrollment process of potential new students
· Plans enrollment strategies based on admissions trends and school enrollment goals
· Builds relationships in the community including area schools, counselors and diagnosticians
· Communicates effectively with prospective families throughout the enrollment process
· Works collaboratively with Community Relations Director to design and implement marketing efforts. Responsible for maintaining current admissions information on the website.
· Works closely with Head of School to manage class sizes
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Experience in admissions, marketing, sales or related field
· Knowledgeable of students with specific learning disabilities
· The successful candidate will be overtly friendly, personable, and able to quickly establish interpersonal connections.
· Excellent computer skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to create a long-range plan and manage the daily details of implementation
