ROOCKET is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our team in South Gate, CA. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining a social media presence for the company, including posting content on all company social media channels. This includes posting original content, as well as assisting with the creation of original content, and assisting with the management of company social media accounts.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a social media presence and be able to create engaging and informative posts that are relevant to our clients and industry.
Essential Functions:
- Create original content for company social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
- Create engaging and informative posts that are relevant to our client's industry
- Post content on all company social media channels daily
- Assist with the creation of original graphics and images for company social media channels weekly (2-3 times per week)
- Assist with copywriting of blog posts, articles, and other written content
- Posting on multiple platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Create monthly reports to track social media performance analytics
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in marketing or communications preferred; not required.
- Proven experience in marketing or communications is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being able to complete tasks with little supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
