Red Effect Instructor Job Description
Red Effect Infrared Fitness is a group fitness organization with locations opening around the USA. We are currently seeking energetic, charismatic, outgoing, positive personalities with a passion for fitness.
DESCRIPTION:
Deliver pre-formatted RE workouts in one or more of the following group fitness concepts:
- High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
- Group Training
Group Fitness Coach Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating positive, high energy, group training sessions
- Responsible for organization and cleanliness of the training floor, as well as other area’s of the studio when needed.
- Responsible for marketing Red Effect services inside and outside the studio via social media and events.
- Responsible for building attendance and retaining current members
- Responsible for the safety of your participants in regards to heart rate, exercise technique, posture and spine, as well as joint stress and stability when resistance training
- Responsible for your scheduled training sessions including but not limited to requesting substitute trainers to cover your session and helping other trainers when available.
- Handle member concerns/feedback in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution and retention when applicable.
- Assist Sales Associates, when needed, with RE studio tours/sales with new prospects as well as staying educated with current pricing options and promotions.
- Must be flexible and willing to work a varied fitness schedule including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
Group Fitness Coach Requirements
- Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics
- Must have the ability to multi-task and stay organized while training up to 20-24 clients in one
- group training session
- Must have the ability to progress and regress exercises on the fly, for real time modifications.
- Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Must have the desire and capacity to train all fitness levels, beginner to elite
- Current fitness certification or currently working on a certification highly preferred
- Must have current CPR/AED certification
- 1+ years of professional experience teaching groups and/or personal training in the Fitness
- Industry highly preferred
- Must understand heart rate focused training programs and the science that supports the Red
- Effect workouts.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- ACE certified strongly recommended
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week

Experience:
- Group fitness: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- ACE Certification (Required)
