Kindred Hospital Chicago North Campus is a 164-bed long-term acute care hospital, we offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our team plays a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients. We are located alongside the North Branch Chicago River and surround by the greenery of Horner, Welles and Revere Parks at 2544 West Montrose Avenue, Chicago, IL 60618.
Kindred Hospital Chicago - Northlake is a 94-bed long-term acute care hospital, we offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our team plays a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients. We are located in the city community offering a nice balance between residential and commercial area, south of O'Hare International Airport at 365 East North Avenue, Northlake, IL 60164.
As a Registered Nurse / RN you will:
- Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
- Develop nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
- Communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
- Participate in discharge planning process.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program as a Registered Nurse / RN; Bachelors of Science in Nursing as Registered Nurse / RN preferred.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse / RN.
- BLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.
- Minimum six months as a Registered nurse / RN with Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
