Seeking energetic full-time experienced RN/LPN for our fast-paced Retina & Vitreous Specialty Practice in the Milwaukee area.
Job Qualifications:
- Highly motivated and ability to multi-task efficiently under demanding situations.
- Knowledge of all aspects of general, surgical and ophthalmic nursing procedures.
- CPR certification on hire or within 90 days of hire.
- Has at least 1-3 years of full time RN/LPN experience . Minimum of 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities
- Assesses patient and family needs in order to provide quality care to assigned patients.
- Develops, discusses, and communicates patient plan of care for their diagnosis and treatment for each patient, in collaboration with each patient, family, and significant other in order to address all identified needs.
- Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to implement medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as necessary for the care of the patient.
- Evaluates the identified problems, care provided, and patient’s responses are reassessed in order meet patient and family needs to ensure overall quality of care delivered.
- Maintains up‑to‑date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team, in order to ensure quality care.
- Maintains current knowledge, certification, and licensure. Pursues professional growth and development.
- Collaborates with provider and care team to educate patient on upcoming surgical and in office procedures.
- Is able to identify potential problems quickly and responds according to the patient’s needs.
- Works closely with the physician and patient during the preparation and recovery of the patient.
- Continues with patient teaching and discharge planning
- Gives complete and clear discharge instruction when the patient is being discharged.
- Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his or her responsibilities related to general safety, center/service safety, and specific job related hazards.
- Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment.

Pay: $28.00 - $36.28 per hour
