Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Training Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling, developing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees & customers.
Duties:
- Design and develop training programs based on organizational needs and objectives
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging learning materials
- Utilize learning technologies such as Adobe Captivate and Adobe Illustrator to enhance training materials
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement
- Provide support in project management for training initiatives
- Proofread and edit training content for accuracy and clarity
Training Duties:
- Coordinate training courses for employees and clients.
- After class notifications to TX, LA
- Create ID’s and certificates for training attendees.
- Create proposals for training on QuickBooks.
- Apply for teaching/training accreditations for unapproved states.
- Submit applications for employees to be state approved trainers in LA/TX
- Maintain employee records for asbestos certifications.
- Email training course details to employees and other attendees
- Maintain company licenses and be responsible for renewal applications.
- Provide support as an instructor assistant when necessary or in emergency situations.
- Support Corpus office with all training needs
- Update training calendar on company website
- Schedule out of state trainings and exams for employees
- Help mentor/develop current trainers.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, or related field
- Proven experience in adult education, curriculum development, and learning technology is a plus
- Proficiency in Adobe Captivate and Adobe Illustrator is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively educate employees
- Excellent project management skills to oversee training programs effectively
