What’s it like to work at “APDO”
As the first point of contact for our patients and their families, the Orthodontic Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your professionalism, exceptional customer service skills, and attention to detail will be vital in upholding our reputation for high-end orthodontic care.
Key Responsibilities include:

Appointment Scheduling: Manage the appointment calendar, schedule consultations, and follow-up appointments with precision, adapting to unique needs or requests of patients or parents.

Patient Education: Provide basic information about orthodontic treatments and procedures, as well as triaging orthodontic issues or emergencies via phone

Communication: Positively engage with patients, families, and team members in person, over the phone, and through email and text to address inquiries, concerns, and scheduling needs.

Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including updating personal and insurance information, and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve patient concerns or issues in a professional and empathetic manner.

Requirements:
No Orthodontic experience? No problem!
We provide on-the-job training for all the skills needed! (i.e., orthodontic terminology, triaging emergencies, etc.)

Previous experience in a medical or dental coordinator role preferred but not required

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in using or learning office software and scheduling systems.
